MABS
The Money Advice and Budgeting Service is in TACU the second Wednesday of every month from 10:30am to 12:30pm, they provide a free and confidential money management and advice service to everyone.

Aware Support group

Learner Drivers
The Driver Theory Test is available for practice. This is for anyone intending to drive a moped, motorcycle, car, tractor, work vehicle, truck or bus. Contact the centre for more details.
Writers Group
Meets on the first and third Thursday of each month. Anyone interested is welcome to join the group.
Children’s art classes

Disability Forum (now called the Lake District Disability Forum)
Held 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 11am @ Tacú. This is aimed for people who have lived with a disability or acquired a disability in later life.It lets you get together with other disabled people in an environment that is positive, enjoyable and informative. Mother and Baby Group
Meet each Thursday morning at 11.00am at Tacú. This group facilitates babies of one year and under. A Public Health nurse also attends this group.
Parenting alone
Tacú Family Resource Centre, Ballinrobe, is keen to hear from anyone interested in being part of a group for Single Parents, men or women parenting alone. This group is not intended to be directive, but simply for parents to share information, provide mutual support, share a cup of tea, meet new people and act as a resource for any single parent.

Drop In- Friday Mornings
Tacú Family Resource Centre has been running a tea/coffee morning once a week on Fridays for older people who live in the town of Ballinrobe and all of the surrounding villages. People come in from The Neale, Cong, Cross, Hollymount, Partry, Kilmaine and Shrule. They meet with others and chat, play cards, sing a song or get involved in crafts. New people are always welcome.
The completed film will be launched in the town later in 2009 and followed by a countywide screening.
Tacú Services:
Tacú, Ballinrobe Family Resource Centre, is now providing a full colour printing service, including A3 and photographic printing, at very competitive rates, with a special reduction for any non-profit community organisations. This additional service complements the existing services of fax, laminating, binding, typing and free internet access.
Information Clinic:
The International Citizens’ Information Clinic is available in the Tacú Family Resource Centre, 1st & 3rd Wednesday’s of the month from 10am to 12.30pm. This service provides invaluable advice on rights and entitlement. The International Citizens’ Information Clinic is available at the same location every second Friday from 2 to 4.30pm. Russian and Polish translators are available.
Cancer Support Association
The Mayo Cancer Support Association is in Tacú Family Resource Centre, Glebe Street, Ballinrobe, every Tuesday, from 10am to 1pm, to provide Cancer Support for anyone affected. Contact 094 9038407 for further information, or call in on a Tuesday morning (appointment needed).
